Senior Project Developer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand the general themes and project concept
  • Analyse and identify funding opportunities linked to project concepts
  • Draft papers related to project content (analysis, study, strategy, policy paper, etc.)
  • Develop project concepts reflecting client needs and programme requirements
  • Organise workshops and meetings with Clients
  • Identify and engage international partners
  • Manage the full project development process including

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of European Cooperation programmes (Horizon 2020 (FP7) and INTERREG on regional/territorial development including 3 years in project development and /or management)
  • Advanced English language skills ( spoken and written, Hungarian knowledge is a strong asset
  • Excellent oral communication & presentation skills, ability to work in an international setting
  • Flexibility to work extra hours from time to time under pressure and to travel regularly
  • Excellent writing skills in English and in Hungarian (preferably)
  • Creativity, ability to think independently and work in a team
  • Ability to develop project budget, experienced excel user
  • Analytical thinking, problem-solving and proactive attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure and keep deadlines
  • Computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Prezi)
  • Driver’s licence

Senior Project Assistant

The task of the senior project assistant is to assist our senior project developers in the development of European cooperation projects on behalf of our clients from the public or private sector.

Key responsibilities:

  • Draft papers related to project content (analysis, study, strategy, policy paper, etc.)
  • Analyse and identify funding opportunities linked to project concepts
  • Participate in the development of project concepts reflecting client needs and programme requirements
  • Organise workshops and meetings with Clients
  • Support in identifying and engaging international partners
  • Assist the full project development process including: developing project application, developing project budget and managing international partnership: partner contacts and communication, partner meetings

Requirements:

  • Proven knowledge and experience in the field of European Cooperation programmes (INTERREG on regional/territorial development and Horizon2020 (FP7), preferable in the field of project development and /or management)
  • Advanced knowledge of English (spoken and written, Hungarian is a strong advantage
  • Fexibility to work extra hours from time to time under pressure and to travel regularly (inland & abroad)
  • Driver’s license

Job location:

Applicant will be located in our office in Budapest, Hungary. Wages are in line with the sector specific monthly rate in Hungary, however, specific arrangements can be made in case of a foreign applicant.
